Causeway Capital Management: People —John Landau, Director of Asia Pacific Distribution

Mr. Landau is the director of Asia Pacific distribution at Causeway. He joined the firm in January 2018. Mr. Landau is responsible for client service and business development in Asia Pacific.

From 2007 to 2017, Mr. Landau was the head of Australasia for Janus Capital Asia Limited, where he established the firm’s Melbourne office and led the Australasian business. From 1998 to 2006, Mr. Landau was a senior manager with Bank of Ireland Asset Management where he was responsible for institutional business development in Australasia. From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Landau was an investment manager with Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC) and was involved in establishing the organization.

Mr. Landau earned a BA in economics from Monash University. He is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia & New Zealand and is a Fellow of FINSIA.
