Causeway’s Global Systematic Equity (GSE) strategy is an actively managed, multi-factor quantitative equity strategy designed to perform across regions and market conditions. Drawing on more than 20 years of global investing—including deep experience in emerging markets, developed markets, and small-cap equities—Causeway’s team has built a robust alpha model tailored for broad application.

Since inception in 2022, the strategy has delivered strong results, with alpha contributions well distributed across geographies and market segments. The US market has been a key source of alpha, supported by a tailored model approach, while developed international, emerging markets, and small-cap equities have also provided meaningful contributions—highlighting the strategy’s design for consistency across diverse market environments.

The GSE model incorporates a range of alpha signals—including value, sentiment, quality, and technical factors—applied with a disciplined and adaptive process. Importantly, smaller stocks and emerging markets have contributed alpha beyond their weight in the portfolio, underscoring the model’s depth and flexibility.

Causeway’s Global Systematic Equity strategy is designed to seek diversified sources of alpha across regions, sectors, and market caps.
